Business & Education
Working group “Business & Education” is a merger from former working groups “school-business” and “vocational education”. Within the new structure the working group triggers projects and events for direct exchange between companies and education providers. Job orientation as well as improving STEM education within Saxony are main objectives.
Bringing more people into STEM, whether in a academic or non-academic career remains a challenge in order to meet the growing demand of the job market. In close cooperation between schools, vocational education providers, universities, companies and further institutions the working group is developing concepts to attract people into STEM and to retain them with the region.
