Silicon Saxony has been growing steadily year after year since its founding in 2000. Currently, our shared network connects over 700 members from all sectors of the microelectronics and ICT industries. The companies and institutions in our cluster employ more than 20,000 people in the Free State of Saxony alone and generate annual revenue of over four billion euros there.

Good economic reasons to network with each other and initiate joint projects, business and innovations. Whether customer-service provider relationship, joint co-innovation or co-creation, lived knowledge or technology transfer – collaborations are possible on the most diverse levels and are supported by our network as well as easy access to the players of the location. Because it is only through our members and their interactions that our network has become what it is today – a lively competence cluster with national and international appeal.
