Working Groups
Silicon Saxony currently offers regular networking, information, exchange and cooperation formats in 20 clearly defined subject areas – our working groups (AK). These offer an exciting range of content from skilled workers to technologies to entrepreneurship. Almost all work areas of our industries are thought of. However, if a topic is missing, we will be happy to develop a new AK with you.
Here, we pursue the “bottom-up” strategy. In most cases, the need and the initial initiative for a working group come directly from member companies and institutions. Silicon Saxony – and here especially the Secretariat (GS) – picks up these threads and subsequently supports the foundation, the organization and the regular execution of the working groups. For this purpose, an employee of the GS is assigned to each AK.

The Silicon Saxony Startup Working Group offered us a safe and confidential platform to challenge our business idea with people from the Saxony region. We received very valuable feedback from people who have already gone down the path of founding a company.
This kind of honest feedback is absolutely priceless and a unique offer.
