About the Logistics Management (MBA) program:

The basic objective of the Logistics, MBA Master's program of the Dresden International University is to strengthen the students' management competence and entrepreneurial initiative in order to be able to react adequately and professionally to logistical challenges in industry, trade and services. This includes comprehensive knowledge and skills in market-oriented planning, design, management and control of material, goods and information flows in value networks and their application. These educational goals are oriented on the one hand towards the requirements of top logistics experts and on the other hand towards a scientifically established university logistics education. All lecturers stand out due to their intensive experience in teaching and research.

About the Industrial Management in Microelectronics (MBA) program:

The production of micro and nano-electronic circuits and devices is a rapidly developing area with a high gradient of innovation. Dresdens modern industry is worldwide reknown as Silicon Saxony. There is a high density of globally acting companies which are now looking for well educated employees with an advanced technical knowledge and profound management competencies. The challenge is to be familiar with the lastest developments in semiconductor technology and to be able to organize the logistics of a rapidly changing production of cicuits and devices with respect to both, an efficient and low-cost production, as well as to guarantee highest yields and quality.

Students participating in this program will gain solid and fundamental knowledge in modern aspects of processor technology, packaging, microsystem and sensor technology as well as fundamental information on operations and logistics management and project management in semiconductor industry and related branches (see description of modules). Small study groups allow efficient and individual studying supported by intensive scientific care in theoretical and experimental exercises. Besides their scientific qualification the graduates will gain extended international and intercultural experience. Successful graduates of the program can start their career in different fields of the microelectronic industry, in companies dealing with microsystem and sensor technique and in all kinds of supply industries.

About the Non-Destructive Testing (M.Sc.) program:

The participants of the Master's program "Non-Destructive Testing" acquire sound basic and specialist knowledge in all areas of NDT (you will find further information in the overview of the study contents). Small groups enable efficient and individual learning, supported by sound scientific supervision in theoretical and practical exercises. Students are familiarized with modern equipment that is fundamental to all NDT methods. The practical exercises can take place in several laboratories. An example can be seen in the picture below, where a student is working in one of the laboratories of the Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung (BAM).

The study advisor Laura Byfut and Julia Ramme will give a general introduction to the programs and answer your questions.
