The regulatory requirements in the area of sustainability have become increasingly stringent in recent years in parallel with the urgency of the issue. In addition to the tightening of the CSR Directive, the German Supply Chain Duty of Care Act (LkSG) has stipulated the sustainable design and monitoring of global supply chains in Germany since January 2023. NTT DATA Business Solutions has known since the publication of its first sustainability report how important and at the same time complex the collection and provision of the necessary data can be. In order to develop an even deeper understanding of its customers’ needs and continuously expand its own services, the SAP consulting company decided to publish an annual sustainability report even before the reporting obligation came into force.
Sustainability Experience Day – Experience sustainability live
NTT DATA Business Solutions will be demonstrating how intelligent technology can help to achieve sustainability goals at the Sustainability Experience Day on April 25, 2024 in FĂĽrth. In various workshops at the Greuther FĂĽrth stadium, experts will make the transformation to a sustainable company tangible and illustrate technological innovations using practical examples. For example, participants can experience live and hands-on on the system how they can manage their own carbon footprint in SAP S/4HANA and thus get a feel for the handling and added value of the new (ERP) world. NTT DATA Business Solutions will also be demonstrating the importance of strong partnerships together with its partner Silbury. In an interactive impulse workshop, the expert for sustainability transformation through digitalization will show how the right sustainability strategy can lead to lasting success. The subsequent sustainability speed pitching session will focus briefly and concisely on strategy, reporting obligations, supply chains and CO2 reduction.
“Our workshops are specially tailored to the needs and perspectives of top management. We highlight typical challenges and suitable solutions relating to sustainability. It is important to us that all participants leave the individual workshops with results that they can actually use,” explains Lorenz Beckmann. To ensure that this can be achieved effectively, the number of participants is limited to 18 people. Participation in the Sustainability Experience Day 2024 is free of charge.
