Neways, the world’s leading innovator in mission-critical electronics, has entered into a multi-year partnership with Melexis, a global provider of microelectronic semiconductor solutions. The partnership involves the advanced packaging of Melexis’ Triphibian® pressure sensors, which are used in thermal management for electric vehicles and AI data centers.

Triphibian® sensors are tiny MEMS (microelectromechanical systems) solutions that directly measure pressure in both liquids and gases. To do this, a sensor chip requires a protective housing—known as a “package”—which plays a key role in determining a sensor’s accuracy, durability, and the efficiency with which it can be manufactured on a large scale. Working closely together, engineers from Melexis and Neways have developed a compact package that functions reliably under harsh conditions.
