Silicon Saxony actively supports the activities of the Saxon state government on the topic of cyber security. To this end, Saxony’s high-tech association is in constant exchange with ministries, authorities and especially the Digital Agency Saxony (DIAS). DIAS is a subordinate division of the Saxon State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labor & Transport, based in Dresden, and serves as a think tank on topics related to digitization in the Free State of Saxony. DIAS employees are involved in the working groups and the work of Silicon Saxony in various ways. In this way, communication to the political level is guaranteed.
