With the acquisition and the gradual conversion into a production facility for sensors, which will begin in the following months, SONOTEC can react flexibly to the development of the company and continue to expand production in line with demand in order to meet the growing requirements of the various markets.
“With the purchase of the site, we have seized a unique opportunity to bring research and development, sales, administration and production back together at a central location within the company,” explains Michael Münch, Managing Partner of SONOTEC GmbH. “The property not only offers us the chance to organize our production, logistics and storage areas more efficiently, but also to create a future-oriented and sustainable working environment.”
SONOTEC, a leading provider of innovative ultrasonic solutions for over 30 years, serves important industries such as the oil and gas industry, the electronics industry, automotive engineering, medical technology, biotechnology and pharmaceutical production. With average sales growth of more than 10% per year and over 200 employees in the Saale city, the company has established itself internationally. Standing on a solid economic foundation, the ultrasound specialist continues to pursue a clear growth course.
Manuela Münch, Managing Partner of SONOTEC, explains: “The expansion is a conscious commitment to the location in Saxony-Anhalt, which serves as both the technological and emotional center of our company. The Halle site remains the key to innovative solutions in ultrasound technology for us. With the new property and the planned expansion into a production facility, we are securing the necessary long-term resources to drive forward the further development of our products and services as well as new innovations.”
The investments in Halle create a good starting point for innovation and sustainable growth as a leading technology and manufacturing company. Michael Münch explains: “Our aim is to remain at the forefront of technological development in our field in the coming years. The additional area offers us the necessary flexibility to keep pace with the dynamic development of the company.” As part of its further development, SONOTEC will continue to pursue its vision of an ultrasound cluster for modern ultrasound technologies in the center of Halle (Saale) over the next few years on the 26,000 square meter site of the former sugar factory at Thüringer Bahnhof.
