The edaWorkshop is the central German event for electronics, design, and applications (EDA). It offers the best conditions for the publication and discussion of application-oriented EDA research results. The balanced presence of science and application creates ideal opportunities for professional exchange with scientific standards, combined with industrial benefits. Particularly noteworthy is the strong presence of leading industrial companies, which enables a wide range of collaborations to transfer research results into economic benefits.
At the same time, the edaWorkshop is also the central event for the exchange of results for all BMBF-funded projects in the field of electronics, design, and applications. It serves as a forum for communication between experts and the funding agency and supports the transfer of results from publicly funded research and development projects. Since its inception in 2007, the successful workshop has attracted more than 100 participants annually.
The two-day event strikes a balance between information and communication. It offers not only a wide range of presentations on specialist topics and EDA research projects, but also ample opportunities for technical discussions and networking. An extensive poster exhibition showcasing research results, including demonstrators and prototypes, provides the ideal setting for this.
