SEMI Europe: NXP and Okmetic executives recognized for their impact on the semiconductor industry

For over 30 years, these prestigious awards have recognized influential individuals in the semiconductor industry for their exceptional leadership and strategic contributions to advancing technological progress.

Kurt Sievers was recognized for his exemplary leadership in the expansion of NXP Semiconductors. A major milestone in his career was the successful merger of NXP and Freescale Semiconductor, which strengthened the company’s position as a global leader in automotive semiconductors and secure edge processing.

Anna-Riikka Vuorikari-Antikainen was recognized for her dedicated contributions to the semiconductor industry. She has played a crucial role in understanding the needs of device manufacturers and developing breakthrough substrate solutions. Her achievements have enabled advances in several areas, including the development of cavity SOI wafers for MEMS devices, high-impedance wafers for RF applications and special stencils for the growth of III-N on silicon.
