Muratec is proud to announce the establishment of its first European training center and the opening of a new technical support office in Dresden, Germany. With this important step, the company is sending a strong signal of its commitment to customer service and training throughout Europe. The new center offers technicians the opportunity to acquire practical know-how and in-depth knowledge of relevant technologies and processes. The aim is to sustainably strengthen technical skills, ensure the highest quality and precision standards and support the long-term operational efficiency of its customers.

In parallel, InSeCoTec GmbH is building its new company headquarters on the same site, but in a separate location. Founded in 2017, the company has recorded continuous growth in recent years. The new location will enable the company to make internal processes more efficient, develop existing know-how in a targeted manner and build up additional expertise in the future, which will ensure the company’s long-term sustainable development.

Murata Machinery, Ltd. is headquartered in Japan and develops and manufactures a wide range of factory automation equipment and systems. The company sets industry standards in terms of quality, precision and reliability, especially as a leading supplier of AMHS (Automated Material Handling Systems) for semiconductor factories. Murata Machinery Europe GmbH is the European headquarters of the Muratec Group. Within Muratec’s extensive partner network, InSeCoTec GmbH is a professional service partner for the AMHS business for semiconductor factories and is responsible for the precise installation, commissioning and expert maintenance of these systems. Their perfectionist approach and many years of experience ensure that highly complex systems in production environments unfold their full potential.

These two independent construction projects in close proximity enable the companies to further deepen their trusting cooperation and meet future challenges even more efficiently. At the same time, they underline Dresden’s growing importance as a leading European location for semiconductor and automation technology.

“We are extremely pleased about the significant investments by Murata Machinery Europe and InSeCoTec in Dresden. The opening of Muratec’s first European training center and the new technical support office – complemented by InSeCoTec’s new headquarters – marks a landmark milestone for the further development of our cluster and the entire metropolitan area and also strengthens the entire European semiconductor ecosystem. The cooperation between Japanese and German, especially Saxon, companies has proven to be extremely valuable, inspiring and reliable in recent years, so we are also pleased to be able to further deepen our relations with Japan in this way. In addition, the ground-breaking ceremony is further proof that the current growth momentum in the north of Dresden – triggered by substantial investments by major semiconductor manufacturers – is making a significant contribution to the expansion of high-quality jobs and to strengthening the innovative power of the location – even beyond the employees directly at the producers,” says Frank Bösenberg, Managing Director of Silicon Saxony.
