In the board test sector, SPEA introduced the high-speed ‘Flying Probe’ ATE technology. The standard ‘Bed of Nail’- and function-testers complete the portfolio. SPEA was founded in 1976 by Luciano Bonaria, who still is the President of the company, and has 550 employees worldwide. SPEA is famous for its creative and innovative test system solutions. Because of its cooperation with some of the biggest and most important electronics and semiconductor producers, SPEA plays an important role in the development and manufacturing of high-quality and efficient production test solutions.
