Infineon: Strengthening of multi-sourcing strategy through new supply agreement with SK Siltron CSS for silicon carbide (SiC) wafers

January 10, 2024. Infineon Technologies AG, a leading global provider of semiconductor solutions for power systems and the Internet of Things (IoT), has signed an agreement with silicon carbide (SiC) supplier SK Siltron CSS. Under the agreement, SK Siltron CSS will supply Infineon with competitive and high-quality 150-millimeter SiC wafers to support the production of SiC semiconductors. In a further phase, SK Siltron CSS will play an important role in supporting Infineon’s transition to 200-millimeter wafers.
