The two-day lab was organized as part of the iCCiEE5 project in collaboration with the HTWD’s start-up incubator. The aim was to network players in Saxony’s innovation and start-up ecosystem and to develop ways in which entrepreneurial thinking and action can be anchored in all specialist areas. Teachers and representatives from academia and practice contributed their perspectives in keynotes, discussion panels and workshops.
International exchange and knowledge transfer
The lab is part of the iCCiEE5 initiative, which strengthens international and intercultural exchange in the field of entrepreneurship education. Project members from HTW Dresden and the partner universities New Uzbekistan University and German Jordanian University provided insights into ongoing work and cooperation projects.
During the week-long project meeting in Dresden, the international team also visited the Ion Beam Center of the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR). There, the participants learned about HZDR Innovation GmbH as an example of successful knowledge transfer from research to industry. The visit illustrated how scientific findings can be translated into marketable innovations.
The next meeting of the iCCiEE5 project team will take place in November at the New Uzbekistan University in Tashkent and will continue the discussions that began in Dresden.
Graduate Program for Entrepreneurship Education
As part of the DAAD program “Higher Education Dialogue with the Islamic World 2024-2025”, HTW Dresden is developing an international graduate program for entrepreneurship education together with its partner institutions from Jordan and Uzbekistan. The programme prepares students for entrepreneurial challenges in a globalized economy through an intercultural, practice-oriented curriculum.
