The microelectronics value chain in Saxony

Materials, equipment, chip design, wafers, masks, front-end and back-end production: Saxony is fully equipped in the field of microelectronics. This is unique in Europe, perhaps even worldwide. Here you can view the companies united in Silicon Saxony in the various areas of the value chain.

How to use our map

Zoom: Press “+” or “-” at the bottom right of the map to zoom in or out.

Show companies in an area: Move the mouse over the desired area of the value chain. Relevant companies are highlighted in color. If you cannot yet see individual companies, zoom in further on the map.

Show area for a company: Zoom into the map until only small dots are visible. Move the mouse pointer over the dot. The corresponding area of the value chain is then displayed at the top of the legend.

Display information on a company: Zoom into the map as far as possible. As soon as you see individual points, move the mouse over the point. An info box will open for the respective company. Click once with the mouse and the box will remain. From here you can access the member profile of the respective company via the link at the bottom of the box. Please note: The member companies themselves are responsible for the information shown here.
