VNClagoon is an open-source software stack that includes features such as video conferencing, collaboration, groupware, project management and microblogging/social networking. Customers have the option of customizing the individual modules. The platform is thus a flexibly scalable solution for companies that need a secure and adaptable software suite to optimize their work processes.
DFB uses VNC solution
The German Football Association (DFB) is one of VNC’s customers in Germany. VNC and Bechtle have also already implemented joint projects for other customers with particularly high security requirements. “VNC and Bechtle share the ambition to provide customers with the best and most secure IT solutions,” says Roland König, Managing Director of Bechtle IT System House Munich/Regensburg. “The VNClagoon software stack is an excellent addition to our open source portfolio and supports us in meeting the individual requirements of our customers with a broad range of offerings.”
New Bechtle Competence Center established
Bechtle supports projects throughout Germany via the VNC Competence Center at its Munich and Regensburg locations. Certified Solution Architects, System Engineers and Infrastructure Specialists advise customers and support them in the implementation and operation of the VNClagoon software stack. “We had not been active in the German channel before and found our dream partner in Bechtle right away,” says Andrea Wörrlein, Managing Director of VNC in Berlin and Member of the Board of Directors of VNC AG in Zug, about the new cooperation. “Already in the first exploratory talks, we noticed that we have a lot in common. Together, we offer companies the opportunity for secure, privacy-compliant cloud computing.”
