SONOTEC: 2nd place at the ElectroTEC Pioneer Award

SONOTEC is proud to have won second place in the “Electronic Components” category at the prestigious ElectroTEC Pioneer Award ceremony in Würzburg. The technology leader was recognized for its world first SONOFLOW CO.55 SD V3.0, an innovative ultrasonic clamp-on flow meter for high-precision non-contact flow measurement and volume dosing in biotechnology. With its integrated and easy-to-use touch display, the sensor sets a new standard in the bioprocessing industry.

The award winners were determined in a public online vote. This underlines the strong market response and the innovative power behind the SONOFLOW CO.55 SD V3.0. “We are honored to receive this recognition from industry experts. The SONOFLOW CO.55 SD V3.0 sensor series combines maximum measurement accuracy and intuitive operability. It is the only sensor in its class that enables real-time settings via a touch display. The sensor can be used for dosing applications from less than 1 ml up to several 1,000 l, enabling seamless scalability of processes. Dosing measurements can be carried out easily and conveniently via the touch display, without an additional control unit.

The sensor with integrated electronics is available in various sizes, making it suitable for a wide range of bioprocess applications. The GMP-compliant stainless steel housing is easy to clean and is ideal for use in cleanrooms.

First prize in the ElectroTEC Pioneer Award in the Electronic Components category went to Phoenix Contact; third place went to Becon Electronics.
