Chemnitz Seminar “Test and Reliability between Ice and Fire: New Labs and Methods from 4 K up to 700 K.”

The Chemnitz Seminar "Test and Reliability between Ice and Fire: New Labs and Methods from 4 K up to 700 K." will take place on September 2 and 3, 2026. We are pleased to invite you to this two-days seminar, which will address topics in the fields of testing and reliability and will culminate in the opening of the “Cryo-Lab for Materials and Electronics Packaging—CRYME”.

Outstanding presentations on reliability and testing methods ranging from cryogenic to high-temperature conditions will provide an excellent platform for exchanging knowledge, discussing practical applications, and identifying future opportunities for collaboration.

Seminar highlights:
* Opening of the “Cryo-Lab for Materials and Electronics Packaging” at the Research Centre MAIN of the Chemnitz University of Technology
* Research and application examples in cryoelectronics and quantum technology—from science to industry
* Burn-in tests and reliability assessment for advanced packaging technologies

The first day will be organized in collaboration with Chemnitz University of Technology, represented by the Professorship of Materials and Reliability of Microsystems. The focus will be on reliability methods under cryogenic conditions. On the second day, test and reliability is within the focus in cooperation with the working group “Test, Analysis & Reliability” of Silicon Saxony.
