With the advent of Industry 4.0 and increasing digitalization, new forms of work are emerging in companies. One particular form is the interaction of employees with robots in the workplace. Thanks to new technological developments, it is now possible for employees to work in close proximity to robots without a safety fence or to work directly with one or more robots. This so-called human-robot collaboration (HRC) is said to have numerous economic advantages. However, the actual spread and application in companies are unknown.

What is it all about?

The aim of the survey is to determine the current status of distribution and classify existing HRC workplaces in the Saxon economy. The aim is to assess for which work activities HRC could already be used successfully. In addition, individual key topics are to be identified for an offer for cross-company exchange in the field of HRC. Detailed participation information is available here.

Who is this survey aimed at?

All Saxon companies in the commercial sector. Please also take part in the survey if your company does not yet have any experience in the field of HRC. In this case, the survey will take around 2 minutes to complete.

Who should complete the survey?

Persons with knowledge and an overview of the workplaces available in the company, e.g. management, employees in a planning department, industrial engineering, occupational safety, etc.

Time required

Depending on the use of robotics in your company, between 2 and a maximum of 15 minutes.

How can you take part?

You can access the anonymized online survey via the link below. The survey ends on September 30, 2025.
