The presentation will focus on store floor monitoring of a heterogeneous machine park based on the umati standard. The Profiroll stand will feature a ROLLEX HP gear rolling machine that continuously generates data and transmits it to the digital twin on the N+P platform using the umati standard. The particular added value for customers lies in the fact that machines from other manufacturers can also be easily integrated. N+P will be demonstrating this at EMO using a heterogeneous store floor in which various machines exhibited at the trade fair are integrated via the umati standard. Product numbers, tool data, machine placements and system statuses are visualized and make data exchange a direct experience for visitors. This makes it clear how complex production environments can be seamlessly networked and monitored via plug & play.
The joint scenario illustrates the practical benefits of interoperable standards. Uniform machine data creates transparency in manufacturing processes, reduces integration costs and accelerates implementation. At the same time, they increase efficiency and open up new opportunities for building open digital ecosystems. For Profiroll customers, this means simple and reliable monitoring of heterogeneous shopfloor environments.
