Not just for hotel guests: Large electric charging station opened at

the Courtyard by Marriott Dresden

Dresden, 01.09.2023 — As one of the first hotels in Dresden, the Courtyard by Marriott on Stauffenbergallee has set up a public electric charging station in its hotel parking lot. From now on, hotel and conference guests as well as drivers from outside can quickly charge their electric vehicles at nine modern and user-friendly charging points.

“Being able to charge your vehicle overnight and set off relaxed the next day is just as much a basic requirement of a business hotel today as fast WLAN, a good breakfast and good bed quality. We are pleased to have found a very customer-friendly solution here and are thrilled by the brisk demand for this service,” says the hotel’s general manager, Johannes Lohmeyer.

The service station was funded by the German Federal Ministry of Digital Affairs and Transport and is operated by the Courtyard by Marriott Dresden in cooperation with the company Wirelane.

Conveniently located on the edge of Dresden’s Neustadt district, the Courtyard by Marriott hotel has 120 rooms and apartments, a conference and event area with seven multifunctional rooms, a wellness area with swimming pool, fitness and saunas, and a bar with food lounge.
