Steinmeyer Mechatronik was founded in 1872 in Dresden by Gustav Heyde as a mathematical-mechanical institute and optical precision workshop. As part of the globally operating Steinmeyer Group, with more than 600 employees worldwide, Steinmeyer Mechatronik develops and manufactures high-precision positioning systems and mechatronic components on a production area of over 3,500 m².
