Commitment and responsibility for the environment are very important to us. Our employees contribute to waste reduction in compliance with all internal and external environmental regulations. One example of this commitment is our substrate and packaging recovery program, which reduces waste while protecting our customers' intellectual property.

Our Information Management System (IMS) is aimed at all parties with an interest in our business activities. It controls the production and support processes associated with the manufacture and sale of photomask products and services. It implements our desire to achieve maximum operational and financial performance for our investors. We intend to provide all products and services to our customers in a manner that maximizes their value. We also strive to continuously improve the health and safety performance of our employees, our impact on the environment and our social responsibility. We strive to be a good place to do business and to fully comply with the laws, regulations and social customs at each of our locations.

We act in accordance with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS), which restricts the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, and the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), a European Union regulation that addresses the manufacture and use of chemical substances and their potential effects on human health and the environment. All our sites worldwide comply with these standards.

We are a member of the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA), formerly the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC), a non-profit organization comprised of electronics, retail, automotive and toy companies that advocates for the rights and well-being of workers and communities impacted by the global supply chain. RBA members commit to and are accountable to a common code of conduct. They use a range of RBA training and assessment tools to support the continuous improvement of the social, environmental and ethical responsibility of their supply chains.
