KOKUSAI SEMICONDUCTOR EUROPE operates as a subsidiary of the Japanese KOKUSAI ELECTRIC CORPORATION.
On June 1, 2018, the company relaunches as a pure manufacturer of semiconductor production systems under KKR & CO. L.P. after spinning off from Hitachi Kokusai Electric Inc.
