June 16, 2026. Exyte, a global leader in the design, engineering, and construction of high-tech facilities, announced today that Chief Financial Officer Peter Schönhofer has taken over as head of the company following the retirement of Dr. Wolfgang Büchele after nine successful years as CEO.

In addition to his duties as CFO, Schönhofer will serve as interim CEO while a structured process to appoint a permanent CEO is underway. The process is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
