
GANTTPLAN is an Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) system for digital detailed planning and optimization of production processes. It serves as an add-on for ERP or MES solutions to plan resources, capacities and materials in real time, improve delivery dates and minimize setup times.
Manufacturing companies can now use ERP order data from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in detailed planning without the need for separate interface or custom development. Order changes or deadline postponements in ERP are thus immediately taken into account in GANTTPLAN and are available there for resource-based production planning.

Consistent detailed planning based on ERP order data
In practice, ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central are designed to reliably map commercial processes. However, these functions are often not sufficient for detailed, resource-based production planning. Production managers have to manually prepare and prioritize order data or transfer it to separate planning systems.
The integration solution connects Business Central with GANTTPLAN and provides ERP order data in a structured manner in detailed planning. There, it can be further processed, taking into account capacities, resources and dependencies. This significantly reduces media disruptions between commercial planning and production.
In addition, users benefit from an update-capable solution anchored in the Microsoft ecosystem that can be integrated into existing IT landscapes without additional complexity and makes it easier to get started with end-to-end detailed planning.
