CRC Clean Room Consulting GmbH is consistently pursuing its growth strategy and strategically positioning itself for international markets. By strengthening its management team, expanding its German locations, and preparing to enter the U.S. market, CRC is responding to the growing demand for complex production and research infrastructure in technology-driven industries, thereby reinforcing its role as a reliable EPCMand general planning partner for sophisticated semiconductor, photonics, and life sciences production facilities.

Management Expansion: Benjamin Steimle Becomes CFO

Since May, Benjamin Steimle has joined CRC’s leadership team—comprising Timo Porta, Markus Scheibenzuber, and Hermann Spinner—as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). With many years of experience in the life sciences tools and deep tech sectors, he brings extensive expertise in scaling internationally oriented organizations.

“Anyone who wants to grow globally in technology-intensive markets needs both: technical excellence and the structures to support that growth. That is exactly what we will be working on together,” explains Benjamin Steimle, CFO of CRC.

The requirements for industrial projects have changed fundamentally in recent years: In addition to technical excellence, customers today expect, above all, international project execution across global production networks, professional project management structures, and integrated models—including EPC and EPCM solutions (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management). CRC is addressing these developments by consistently expanding its expertise and further developing its service portfolio.

International Expansion: Plans for a Branch Office in the U.S.

North America is a key focus for CRC’s next phase of growth. The company plans to establish its own branch office in the U.S. in 2026/2027 to build a systematic, local presence in the region and specifically address the growing demand from North American customers. CRC already serves international customers in Europe, North America, and Asia—coordinated by globally networked project teams and, in specific cases, implemented directly at the customers’ production sites. This model has proven to be extremely efficient in demanding project environments. The planned U.S. branch will build on this foundation and create a permanent local presence in the future.

Expansion of the German Presence: New Location in Saarlouis

With the opening of a new location in Saarlouis in the Saarland, CRC is systematically expanding its regional presence in Germany and strengthening its proximity to key industrial sectors. The office is expected to grow to up to 30 employees in the coming years and serves as a key component for managing both national and international projects. In doing so, CRC is expanding its capacity for interdisciplinary teams and highly qualified specialists who support complex industrial projects from planning through implementation.

Technical Excellence as a Strategic Core

CRC specializes in the design and construction of cleanroom and laboratory facilities as well as high-tech production plants that meet the highest quality and regulatory standards, with a focus on economically sustainable solutions that ensure long-term production success.

The company has established itself as a reliable EPCM and general planning partner for semiconductor fabs, photonics and advanced packaging production facilities, as well as GMP-compliant biopharma and R&D facilities. CRC handles integrated planning, management, and implementation, consistently ensuring on-time delivery, cost control, and quality assurance throughout all project phases, right up to the start of production.

This is based on a consistent inside-out planning approach: Starting with the tool layout and specific production requirements, plant layouts, utility supply, cleanrooms, and building infrastructure are developed as an integrated system. This ensures maximum operational efficiency, scalability, and investment security throughout the entire life cycle of the facility.

With CRC, customers gain not only a planner but also a responsible EPCM and general planning partner who integrates production requirements, buildings, cleanrooms, and technical infrastructure into a fully functional, comprehensive solution. A single point of contact, clear lines of responsibility, and an experienced international management team minimize risks, shorten decision-making processes, and bring projects to production launch faster, more reliably, and more efficiently.

Growth Drivers: Semiconductors, Photonics, and Life Sciences

Massive investments are being made worldwide in the expansion of semiconductor, photonics, and advanced packaging capacities, driven by advancing digitalization, rapid progress in the fields of artificial intelligence, electric mobility, and cloud infrastructure, as well as the strategic desire of many countries for more resilient and regional supply chains.

The pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries are experiencing similarly dynamic growth: production and research capacities are expanding to meet the rising demand for innovative therapies, biologics, and cell and gene therapies. At the same time, stricter regulatory requirements, the development of resilient supply chains, reshoring initiatives, extensive research investments, and the growing importance of healthcare worldwide are driving the expansion of modern, GMP-compliant production and research facilities. Here, too, CRC is a sought-after partner with many years of expertise in the planning and implementation of GMP-compliant laboratories, production facilities, and cleanroom environments.

What sets CRC apart in both industries is its ability to translate highly complex technical and regulatory requirements into functional, reliable facilities. It is precisely this expertise that makes the company a sought-after partner for businesses currently entering this next wave of investment.
