While AP&S has so far focused on training customers on the company’s own systems, the new concept will be significantly expanded: in future, general training courses on wet process equipment will also be offered – from troubleshooting and hardware and software troubleshooting to the safe handling of chemicals and the development of basic technical skills. The focus is just as much on reducing fear of contact as it is on practising routine operations on a real system under production-like conditions – but without chemicals and therefore completely risk-free for the participants.
In close cooperation with qfmd, a unique training model for adults and trainees is being created that combines technical expertise, practical application and modern didactics. qfmd brings many years of experience in adult education, training support and skills development to the table. Together, the partners offer a training environment that is realistic, safe and future-oriented.
Benefits for participants at a glance:
- Training on real AP&S wet process plants – without chemicals, but with maximum practical relevance
- Targeted preparation for industrial work processes and technical challenges
- Teaching of safety-relevant knowledge in dealing with chemical processes
- Building self-confidence in dealing with complex technology
- High-quality support from specialist trainers with industry and training experience
- Access to a strong network of technology, training and industry
With this initiative, AP&S and qfmd are sending a strong signal for practice-oriented training in the semiconductor and process industry. The Dresden site – as one of the leading semiconductor locations in Europe – offers ideal conditions for this.
