Surface Acoustic Wave Sensor & Actuator – Symposium 2026
Driving Innovation, Sharing Knowledge, Building Networks
The SAW Symposium 2026 invites leading experts from research and industry to Dresden on September 17–18, bringing together the latest developments in Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) technologies for presentation and discussion.
The Symposium is a biennial meeting point for science and industry, dedicated to advancing Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW)–based sensors and actuators. These technologies are key enablers for Industry 4.0, electromobility, smart homes, and lab-on-a-chip systems. SAW-based sensors unlock new possibilities for precise industrial monitoring and control, while emerging SAW actuators drive innovation in atomization and microfluidics. As an international platform connecting researchers and engineers from academia and industry for over a decade, the SAW Symposium invites you to join the community as an author, as an application- or technology-interested participant, or as a sponsor with an exhibition booth.
What to expect:
- Scientifically grounded keynotes and talks
- Engaging poster sessions
- A diverse industry exhibition
- Targeted networking in an inspiring setting
Program:
SAW Symposium 2026 topic areas:
I:Design, concepts and materials for SAW-based sensors and actuators
II:SAW sensors for physical, chemical, biological applications and gases
III:SAW-based actuators, atomizers and microfluidics
IV:Industrial applications and deployments of SAW
