Actemium: Start of applications for the Applied Digitization Award

27 May 2024. This year, HTWK Leipzig and Actemium Germany will once again be awarding the sponsorship prize for a student thesis focusing on the topic of “applied digitalization” with prize money of up to 2,500 euros. HTWK Leipzig students whose final thesis deals with the topic of “applied digitalization” can apply for the Applied Digitalization Award until 15 September.

The application process:

After all applications have been submitted, the work will be reviewed by a jury consisting of professors from HTWK Leipzig, a Managing Director of Actemium Germany and employees of Actemium Germany and VINCI Energies Germany and then presented in a pitch.

The best ten theses will be presented at a so-called Pitch Day on October 24, 2024.

In preparation for the big Pitch Day, the ten best theses will receive professional support in the form of an online workshop conducted by the HTWK start-up consultancy StartBahn13 and the VINCI Energies Digitalschmiede. In addition to theoretical input, the students will also receive practical feedback for their presentations. Participants will receive further information and an invitation to the workshop after submitting their thesis.

The prize money

This year, the finalists can once again look forward to prize money of 2,500 euros for 1st place, 1,500 euros for 2nd place and 500 euros for 3rd place. The prize money is for both the student and the accompanying professor.
