Our Executive Board is elected by the General Meeting and is committed to the strategic direction of the association with a high level of personal, voluntary commitment.

Besides the four members of the Executive Board, eight Extended Board members form the top of Silicon Saxony e. V. They support the Executive Board and at the same time represent the network structure of the association in order to represent the different interests of our network members in the Executive as well as the Extended Board.

With its large number of universities and research institutions, Saxony’s research landscape represents one of the most important research centers in Germany. Saxony plays a leading role in Europe in the research fields of microelectronics and organic electronics.

Silicon Saxony e. V. has established a scientific advisory board in its structure to bring important contributions from leading researchers into the strategic work of the association.
The members of the scientific advisory board advise the board of Silicon Saxony e. V. on strategic issues, inform about technology trends and support regional, national and international research cooperations and technology transfers.
