UIIN Forum: Pathways for Impactful Collaboration

Join us for a UIIN Forum exploring how universities and industry can build more coherent, industry-embedded pathways from research to application — a challenge shared by institutions, companies and innovation ecosystems across Europe. 

This forum will bring together university leaders, industry representatives, research organisations, policymakers and ecosystem actors to examine how research-to-market pathways can be structured, scaled and sustained. Through international perspectives, applied examples and peer exchange, participants will explore how collaboration can move beyond fragmented initiatives towards more integrated and impactful models. 

Hosted in collaboration with TU Dresden, TUD Excite, Fraunhofer IWU and HTW Dresden, and set in one of Europe’s leading deep-tech and semiconductor ecosystems, the forum will explore how talent, interdisciplinary research, entrepreneurship, industry collaboration and applied infrastructure come together to move ideas towards real-world impact. 

Through panel discussions, an interactive UIIN-led workshop, practical case studies and peer roundtables, participants will explore how universities and industry can co-create environments that connect students, researchers, companies and ecosystem actors across the full research-to-market pipeline.
