The SICO global group of companies is an internationally active specialist in the processing of silicon, quartz and ceramics for the semiconductor industry.

Our group, headquartered in Bad Bleiberg, Austria, was founded in 1981 and with its nearly 150 employees on three continents - Europe (Austria), Asia (Singapore) & America (Florida) offers its customers the highest quality. From the idea, through research and development, to series production, SICO supports its customers with its unique know-how and its innovative, special and patented production methods.

Among other things, the company has succeeded in developing a silicon injector for semiconductor production that is made from high-purity silicon. This silicon injector has the advantage that it does not have to be replaced every day, but can remain in use for up to three months without particles being deposited. For customers in the semiconductor industry, this results in two decisive advantages: The furnace can remain in operation for these three months without downtime and the development of disruptive particles is demonstrably minimized, which allows chip yields to be massively increased. This is a completely unique product worldwide, which SICO Technology manufactures and offers to customers in a unique and patented process.

Sico silicon products are the first choice for use in semiconductor poly, nitride and CVD processes

High purity semiconductor grade silicon is the raw material for wafers.
Sico machines extremly high pure silicon for silicon process tubes, injectors, pedestals and carrierboats.
The materials high temperature capability and the same thermal expansion coefficient as the wafers, helps the customer to reduce particle defects and slips.
Sico can machine silicon and form it into shapes, only known from quartz until now.
