The ZEISS Experience takes visitors on a curated journey \u201cFrom Passenger to Pilot\u201d and demonstrates how modern optical systems are reshaping both cabin and cockpit environments. Visitors can experience how future aircraft concepts will integrate information more seamlessly, intuitively, and efficiently through transparent surfaces, holographic interfaces, and weight-optimized optical system architectures.<\/p>\n
The Transparent Cabin Display and the Next-Generation Head-Up Display (HUD) are the focal points of the trade show presentation.<\/p>\n
ZEISS\u2019s Transparent Displays integrate digital content directly into transparent cabin surfaces. Flight information, entertainment options, and interactive features are thus naturally incorporated into the cabin interior without additional visible displays or mechanical components. The technology opens up new possibilities for smart cabin concepts while also supporting lightweight, space-saving aircraft architectures.<\/p>\n
In addition, ZEISS has developed a Head-Up Display (HUD) with a wide field of view to improve pilots\u2019 situational awareness. Critical flight and navigation information is projected directly into the pilot\u2019s forward field of view, allowing them to keep their eyes on the flight situation rather than switching between instruments and the outside world. As a result, the technology supports faster, more intuitive, and safer decision-making, especially during critical phases of flight.<\/p>\n
Based on the ProSight\u2122 technology platform, the system eliminates the bulky projector architecture typically found in head-up displays. The result is a significantly lighter and more compact solution that enables a wide field of view and high optical performance while reducing integration effort and energy consumption in the cockpit.<\/p>\n
The technologies are designed for a broad spectrum of future aviation applications. They help airlines, aircraft manufacturers, and avionics providers create new passenger experiences, further enhance situational awareness and decision-making capabilities in the cockpit, and simultaneously implement more efficient aircraft architectures.<\/p>\n
