RFID hardware must therefore integrate seamlessly into existing system architectures \u2013 without requiring mechanical modifications or structural changes.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h3>Ultra compact LF reader for new and existing automation concepts<\/h3>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fabmatics.com\/files\/2026\/04\/rfid-reader-lf-134-ser-mini-ultra-compact-size-comparison.png\" style=\"width: 25%; float: right;\" class=\"note-float-right\">The LF134SERMINI was developed precisely for these conditions. Thanks to its extremely compact design, it enables LF RFID identification at 134.2 kHz even in space critical installation scenarios.<br \/>\nA robust aluminium housing ensures mechanical stability in demanding fab environments, making the reader suitable for both existing equipment and newly designed, space optimized automation solutions.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h4>Seamless integration into existing LF identification infrastructures<\/h4>\n<p>A key advantage of the new reader is its software compatibility with existing LF134SER models. This allows the LF134SERMINI to be seamlessly integrated into established identification and automation systems.<br \/>\nAs a result, semiconductor fabs and equipment manufacturers can incrementally upgrade existing systems, without fundamentally changing proven processes or interfaces.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h5>Technical highlights for industrial LF identification<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>The reader operates in the LF frequency range at 134.2\u202fkHz and supports ISO\u202f11784\/785 compliant HDX and FSK transponders as well as TIRIS compatible read\/write transponders. <\/li>\n<li>With dimensions of 71\u202f\u00d7\u202f60.4\u202f\u00d7\u202f20.8\u202fmm (2.795 \u00d7 2.378 \u00d7 0.819 in), the device is approximately five times smaller than conventional serial LF readers while offering the same functional scope.<\/li>\n<li>Its RS232 serial interface enables direct connection to production equipment and automation systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6>Expanding the Fabmatics portfolio for 150, 200 and 300mm fabs<\/h6>\n<p>With the LF 134 SER MINI, Fabmatics expands the SCIO Automation Group portfolio with a compact, system compatible identification device for 150\u202fmm, 200\u202fmm, and 300\u202fmm semiconductor fabs.
