In AGVs, AMRs, OHT systems, and load ports, available installation space and standardized interfaces are becoming increasingly limited. At the same time, requirements for reliable identification and traceability continue to grow in automated production environments. The new reader was developed specifically to meet these boundary conditions.<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"\">A Compact Addition to Fabmatics Identification Systems<\/h4>\n<p>The LF\u2011134\u2011SER\u2011MINI complements Fabmatics\u2019 existing identification portfolio with an exceptionally compact LF RFID read\/write device. Thanks to its broad software compatibility with previous LF\u2011134\u2011SER reader generations, the device supports the expansion and stepwise automation of existing production equipment. With this addition, Fabmatics further strengthens its position as an experienced provider of RFID identification solutions for 150\u202fmm, 200\u202fmm, and 300\u202fmm semiconductor fabs.<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"\">Technical Design for Reliable 134.2\u202fkHz Identification in Minimal Space<\/h4>\n<p>The ultra\u2011compact LF RFID reader operates in the LF frequency range at 134.2\u202fkHz and supports ISO\u202f11784\/785\u2011compliant HDX and FSK transponders as well as TIRIS\u2011compatible read\/write transponders. With dimensions of 71\u202f\u00d7\u202f60.4\u202f\u00d7\u202f20.8\u202fmm (2.795 \u00d7 2.378 \u00d7 0.819 in), the device is approximately five times smaller than conventional serial LF readers.<\/p>\n<p>The serial RS232 interface enables direct connection to production equipment and automation systems. A robust aluminum housing ensures mechanical stability in the industrial fab environment.
