Start-up help for SMEs<\/h3>\n

The centers make the latest AI research practically usable for business and science. They provide computing capacities and language models such as LAION-5B or LeoLM, develop data protection-compliant solutions for companies with ChatAI and offer a broad program of training and consulting. This gives SMEs in particular access to technologies that were previously only available to large players.<\/p>\n

The success continues into the second round <\/h3>\n

The first funding phase was a complete success – now the funding guideline is entering its second round. Until 2027, the range of services will be further expanded, “AI made in Germany” will be strengthened and the path for functional and trustworthy applications will be paved.<\/p>\n

AI as a key technology of the future <\/h3>\n

With the High-Tech Agenda, Germany is pursuing the goal of generating around ten percent of its economic output based on AI by 2030. AI should not only increase productivity, but also make a difference in key industries such as automotive, biotechnology, medicine and agriculture. Germany is thus positioning itself as a player in the global AI competition – as sustainable as possible and as human-centric as possible.<\/p>\n

The AI service centers are an important building block on this path: they network research, industry and start-ups, facilitate the transfer of innovations into practice and thus help to turn ideas into added value – for greater competitiveness, prosperity and a “future made in Germany”.<\/p>\n
