In addition, numerous US states have enacted or are currently implementing bans and restrictions on PFAS in various consumer and industrial products. Japan is also taking action and will ban the manufacture, import and use of 138 PFAS chemicals from January 2025. Globally, the Stockholm Convention has listed several PFAS for elimination or restriction, including a recently adopted ban on long-chain perfluorocarboxylic acids (PFCAs), which will be enforced in all member countries from January 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Our expertise in off-gas and wastewater treatment provides a solid foundation for the development of forward-looking technologies that can address the challenges of PFAS issues in the semiconductor industry.
