Infineon’s manufacturing strategy is based on a balanced mix of in-house and outsourced manufacturing and is a key pillar of the company’s profitable growth trajectory. In Cavite and Cheonan, volumes are bundled under the new ownership and first-class manufacturing services are provided for the entire industry. This will enable Infineon and ASE to leverage mutual synergies and create attractive growth potential on both sides.<\/p>\n

Infineon Technologies Power Semitech is a back-end manufacturing site with approximately 300 employees. The production site is located in Cheonan, South Korea, about 100 kilometers south of Seoul. Infineon Technologies Cavite is a back-end manufacturing site with more than 900 employees. It is located in one of the fastest growing and most industrialized provinces in the Philippines.<\/p>\n
The transaction is expected to close towards the end of the second calendar quarter of 2024 once all outstanding closing conditions are satisfied.<\/p>\n
